Seminar on River Linking

Jayanta Bandyopadhyay is the founder President of South Asian Consortium on Interdisciplinary Water Resource Studies and Chairs the Committee on IWRM of the International Water Resources Association.  He is the author of numerous books and articles including Freshwater for India's Children and Nature UNICEF and WWF (New Delhi) 1998; Mountains of the World : A Global Priority (London, Parthenon) 1997; Science and Technology in the Asia-Pacific Region UNESCO (Paris) 1989; India's Environment: Crises and Responses Natraj Publishers (Dehradun) 1985. 

Professor Bandyopadhyay is currently involved in a campaign to have the Govt. of India make public the feasibility studies on the River Linking Project.
